I offer my knowledge, experience and heartfelt dedication in helping you express what you want, exactly the way you want it.
I have specialized on vocal technique and performance (psychological skills) and have taken on a science-based, multidisciplinary approach to teaching. This includes efficient, up-to-date and directly applicable strategies for:
- producing all types of vocal sounds, for:
- speech and all styles of singing - vocal health and solutions for voice problems - psychological skills for peak performance, confidence, motivation, goal setting, handling stage fright and more. - motorskill learning and practice strategies - interpretation and artistry - voice recording / vocal production My knowledge and methods come from studies of Complete Vocal Technique / CVT (Authorized Teacher), Sports Psychology (University of Stockholm), Neurolinguistic Programming / NLP (Certified Master by ECNLP) as well as a general interest, private studies and counseling in the field of psychology - specifically Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT). Not the least experience as a touring and recording singer and musician. |
"The challenge of theoreticizing is to only do it when needed, and to know why you're doing it. No strategy for expression is an end in itself. The message and how it moves us, is."

Why do I know so much about the voice?
There are several reasons. One is that I have been working with vocalists for nearly two decades now. I have had the opportunity to teach singers of all ages, levels and styles - pop, rock, classical, jazz, soul, musical theatre, folk music, singer/songwriter, and the roughest metal styles. I've worked with beginners as well as major label artists and bands, coached theatre and musical theater productions, experimental music tours, corporate speakers, gospel and classical choirs, opera singers, TV hosts, death metal bands, actors, priests, teachers, voice teachers, and you name it. Working in an independent voice studio, me and my clients have the freedom of exploring and developing their expression whichever way they desire. Regularly teaching for the Royal College of Music in Stockholm too, I am also familiar with the academic curriculum.
Another reason is that I met Cathrine Sadolin (creator of CVT) some 15 years ago and became the one to introduce Complete Vocal Technique in Sweden when was new here. Thus I have been using and teaching CVT for a long time now and have also been involved in new research, both conducted by Complete Vocal Institute in Copenhagen, and on my own (published in Journal of Voice) and developing the pedagogy further. Finding a method that worked well didn't stop me from looking further. On the contrary, the more I learned about the voice, the more I wanted to learn. I've explored many methods and approaches. I engage in an international and multidisciplinary community of teachers and scientists and spend a lot of time developing and updating my knowledge. This includes f.e. studying scientific findings as well as taking part in international voice conferences, where I have also given lectures and workshops.
One more reason is that I am just tirelessly curious and love to learn, especially about the voice! Simply put - I am a voice geek. And even at meeting points for people like me, I tend to stand out as the one with always another question.
Add to this a life of music, playing classical piano since childhood, composing songs and writing lyrics since my early teens, chanting work songs during volonteering as a teacher in Africa, singing at bars and clubs every night in my 20s and touring internationally by my 30s. I have performed as an artist with my own singer/songwriter act, an own rockband, as a feature and backup singer, pianist and guitarist. I've been on every angle of the stage in all kinds of circumstances and states.
